    Sharon Dorram- colorist to the stars-is known for creating beautifully natural color reminiscent of children’s hair. She is a legend in the industry. Her signature coloring style is low maintenance and down to earth. She creates just the right shade for everyone who sits in her chair. Whether it is a perfect baby blonde, a deep mahogany brown or a fantastic cedar red, you can spot Sharon’s signature look from a mile away. Her roster of clients have included everyone in Hollywood Royalty from Barbara Streisand to Renee Zellweger, Julia Roberts, Kate Hudson, Nicole Kidman, Uma Thurman, Kate Winslet, Meg Ryan, Linda Evangelista, Candice Bergen, Kevin Kline, Gretchen Mol, Christie Brinkley and Priyanka Chopra.

    Sharon graduated from Bennington College in Vermont and followed her love of the arts to the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and the Winchester School of Arts in the United Kingdom. Her sense of color and an artistic eye, led her to train under Louis Licari in the late 80’s followed by stints with some of the world’s most prestigious stylists, including John Sahag, Oribe, Frédéric Fekkai, and John Frieda.

    Throughout her career, Sharon has been a spokesperson for various hair care product companies including Matrix and Nexxus. In the late 90’s -she was named the Creative Consultant for the John Frieda brand. She is the Color Director for the haircare line Virtue. Sharon has formed close relationships with many of the most important beauty directors and editors, including Glenda Bailey of Harper’s Bazaar, Jane Larkworthy , Sarah Brown , Susan Casey and Amy Synnott D’Annibale.

    In early 2009, Sharon cofounded Sharon Dorram Color at Sally Hershberger in a townhouse decorated by the infamous Daniel Roumaldez on the Upper East Side.

    Sharon Dorram is an active supporter of the Evelyn H. Lauder Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, ASPCA, The Wildlife Rescue Center of the Hamptons, MMR Foundation and the Historical Society Greenwich Land Trust.

    She currently resides in Greenwich, Connecticut with her husband and two children.

    New Yorker Chris Lospalluto has become one of the most sought after hair stylists in Manhattan. Aside from having a warm and generous personality; Chris is renowned for his special ability to capture the very best of a woman's innate sense of style and enhance it.

    Hudson Valley born, Chris moved to New York City at the age of 20 to study menswear design at Fashion Institute of Technology. Shortly after his first year at F.I.T. he took a position as a visual merchandiser for COACH Leatherwear, creating the look for many of the retail store vignettes. After several successful years, he began to seek a more personal creative work experience. A friend suggested he try his hand at hairstyling, and the rest is history.

    Beginning his career with editorial stylist Kevin Mancuso and later moving to John Frieda Salon, he honed his craft under the guidance of Serge Normant and other top stylists. Influenced by the glamour of the 1960s and 70s, Chris began to develop his own style direction-with his own cool, fresh and modern aesthetic.

    Since 2009, working at Sally Hershberger salon's, Chris has continued to earn the devotion of fashion editors, young designers, fresh-faced celebrities and high-profile clients. Men also find his cool down to earth sensibility appealing.

    No stranger to publicity, Chris has been featured in Allure magazine's Beauty Directory and its exclusive "The BEST of the BEST" issue. His work has also been recognized in the New York Times, GQ, Elle, Glamour, W Magazine, Cosmopolitan, WWD, In Style, Lucky, Teen Vogue, Gotham, and Martha Stewart Weddings.

    He has contributed to video advertising campaigns and promotional events for Dove Skin Care, Sharpie, Ford, Christian Louboutin, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Bloomingdales.     With mentions in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Glamour, Entertainment Weekly, Esquire, InStyle and Marie Claire, as well as winning a Self magazine award for "Best Curly Hair Stylist" and being voted "One of the Best Hair Cutters in New York" by New York Magazine, Burton Machen has established a name for himself in the beauty industry. For the past 20 years, Burton has been styling and cutting some of the best-known tresses in the entertainment business. His skill has allowed him to travel the world, styling for television shows and photo shoots with the likes of Sheryl Crow, Kelly Lynch, Julia Roberts, Barbara Streisand and Vogue's famed editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.

    Getting his start in New York, Burton was Frederic Fekkai's personal assistant before joining the Peter Coppola Salon. After a switch to the West Coast, Burton worked at the cutting-edge Sally Hershberger Salon in West Hollywood and later moved to The Salon by Maxime in Beverly Hills. In 2009, Burton again teamed with Sally Hershberger, flying in from Los Angeles once a month for his East Coast clientele at Sharon Dorram Color at Sally Hershberger in New York City.

    Stylist Aki Naito knew from a remarkably young age that hair would be his future. In pursuit of this dream, Aki became an assistant at the age of 15 and was cutting hair as a stylist in his native Japan by the time he was 16. Aki moved to NYC to challenge himself with the diverse array of hair that such a cosmopolitan city has to offer. He has thrived in this environment for the last 20 years and now Sharon Dorram Color at Sally Hershberger.

    For Aki, hair is a very simple thing. It has its own personality. Aki has the ability and training to uncover and develop this unique character, allowing the client to see what their hair is truly capable of achieving. His joy is working with a client's hair texture/structure, individual personality and lifestyle to create the perfect style, so "you can love your look everyday."

    Jennifer joined Sharon Dorram @ Sally Hershberger Salon in 2011 where she quickly became the go-to stylist for a perfect blow-dry and sleek, easy to manage cuts. Able to quickly adapt to any environment, be it in a photo studio or at a destination event, it is in the salon Jennifer really finds her passion.

    Stylist Melissa "Mia" Meyers combines her New York training and technical skill with the Midwestern friendliness of her native Ohio to create the most comfortable salon experience you will ever have. Beyond the thousands of hours logged behind her chair at Sharon Dorram Color at Sally Hershberger in Manhattan’s Upper East Side, Mia also works closely with Sally Hershberger herself, having accompanied her to such such events as the Toronto International Film Festival and appearances on the Home Shopping Network.

    In addition to her salon work, Mia has contributed to editorials, major websites, fashion shoots and fashion shows, including Naeem Kahn and Naeem Kahn Bridal, Ines Di Santos, Teen Vogue for NYFW and the Naeem Khan Fall 2015 lookbook (lead hairstylist). She has also collaborated with Allure, Glamour, WWD, Cosmopolitan, Cosmo Body, Redbook, Quest,, Universal Studios, Warner Bros, “Saturday Night Live,” Refinery29, NYMags “The Cut,” and Buzzfeed.     Having always been inspired by the glamour and timelessness hair of Audrey Hepburn, Farrah Fawcett and Marilyn Monroe, Temur has been happy for the past six years to be applying his lifelong passion into his professional experience. For a year and half of his career, Temur had the life changing opportunity to personally assist his world-renowned hairstylist mentor, Sally Hershberger. During that time he assisted Sally on high profile photo-shoots and fashion shows where he honed and developed his styling skills.

    Temur is known for tailoring each haircut with a personalized, creative touch that plays off the clients face shape, style and personality. He believes it is important to understand the clients texture and the connection that they have to their own hair in order to assist them in achieving the look at home.

  • Machiko Yamamoto



    Stylist Machiko Yamamoto was born and raised in Fukuoka Japan where she trained at top hair salons in Tokyo. In particular she studied under Akio Tsuchiya, the maestro of Kimono hair.

    Machiko has created a name and following with celebrities and A list clients in New York since 2008, when she started her professional journey with Peter Coppola, went on to work with Kevin Mancuso and Serge Normant at John Frida.

    Her serene yet professional personality reflects her zen sensibility and brings a calm over all who are fortunate enough to experience her skills and attention.

    She has been with Sally Hershberger since 2011, where she continues to elevate her skills while keeping her clients coming back!

  • Cassie Cohen



    When it comes to who best creates those much sought after sun kissed beachy highlights, look no further than Cassie Cohen. Raised on the beach in Malibu, Cassie had a front row education on how the sun naturally altered women’s hair color in a stunning way. Formulating how to duplicate those organic shades and taking into consideration the clients’ skin tone, eye color and lifestyle are all a part of Cassie’s unique sensibility and approach to hair color.

    After graduating from the University of Arizona in 2010, and soon after obtaining her cosmetology license in Santa Monica , CA., Cassie made the bold decision to move to New York City and study with the industry’s top colorists, including Sharon Dorram, Aura Friedman and Keith Shore...all apart of the Sally Hershberger salons. She soon developed her own signature technique becoming fluent in creative color including balayage , foil, natural looking blondes, brunettes and redheads.

    Cassie felt honored to have worked with many celebrities such as Courtney Love, Demi Lovato, Christie Brinkley, Gigi and Bella Hadid to name a few. She has also worked with top models during New York Fashion Week for the renowned fashion designer Marc Jacobs.

    “For me it’s not only important to give my clients the color they want, but equally as important to maintain the integrity of the health of the hair” says Cassie. Her less is more approach, coupled with her passion for her craft and love of people is what motivates Cassie to constantly strive to please whomever sits in her chair.

  • Sophie Georgiou



    At a young age, a well-connected aunt introduced colorist Sophie Georgiou to the bewitching world of Parisian hair stylists. This early encounter ultimately led to a more disciplined study of hair color and the formation of a coloring technique highly influenced by her training and studies as a painter.

    Beginning in Paris, Sophie practiced her craft at salons in the epicenter of French couture. After 15 years she moved to NYC, where she joined Bruno Dessange. Here she worked alongside such notables as Bruno Pittini, Odile Gilbert, Michel Alenan and Serge Normant in a creative hub of ideas and exchange of technique. After time with Jacques Dessange and Peter Coppola, she was asked to come to John Freida, where she met Sharon Dorram. In 2009 Sharon invited her to join the color team at Sharon Dorram Color at Sally Hershberger.

    Sophie's balayage coloring technique is a highly skilled balance of blending and contrasts. It produces color remarkable for its definition and dimension, whether it be caramel, amber, California blonde or natural-looking brunette.

    Makeup artist and eyebrow specialist Maribeth Madron is consistently recognized as being the top in her field. On numerous occasions Allure has singled Maribeth out as the Best for Brows (an unprecedented eight times), Best for Makeup and Best for Wedding Makeup, and Vogue has twice included her in its prestigious beauty listing "The Guide" for her brow work.

    Maribeth′s achievements are not an overnight success but the result of over 20 years of training and professional experience, beginning when she was 15. She has established for herself an enviable career that includes 10 years as an international makeup artist and educator for Laura Mercier - traveling the world for press, personal appearances, photo shoots, launches and teaching engagements - and residences at such notable salons as John Barrett Salon, Warren Tricomi Salon, David Evangelista at Cornelia and currently Sharon Dorram Color at Sally Hershberger Salon.

    Maribeth has practiced her craft in all possible facets of the beauty, fashion and entertainment industries. Her work has appeared on The Today Show, Good Morning America, Late Show with David Letterman, The View, Access Hollywood, Fashion Emergency, Extreme Makeover, The Bachelorette Wedding, the Grammy Awards and the Tonys. It has also been featured in the pages of Vanity Fair, Vogue, Allure, Marie Claire (UK), Harper′s Bazaar (HK) and Ladies′ Home Journal. In addition, she has been a frequent panelist for Women′s Health Beauty Product Awards and was honored to be a judge for the Emmy Awards in the makeup categories.

    In 2013, Maribeth was thrilled to be asked to join the Maybelline family as their Global Brow Expert. She is active in all areas from product development, print & video shoots, and product launches.

  • Jo-Anna Lynn



    After meeting Sally Hershberger on a shoot and hitting it off instantly, Jo-Anna Lynn became Sally’s personal makeup artist and is now based at Sharon Dorram Color at Sally Hershberger. Adored for her natural, flawless approach to makeup. Jo-Anna also creates gorgeous custom brow designs for her clients taking into consideration their individual bone structure, shape of the eye, and brow texture.

    Jo-Anna’s thirst for knowledge and creative interpretation landed her at the M.G. Westmore Academy of Cosmetic Arts in Los Angeles. Upon her return to New York, she apprenticed under many famed make-up artists before moving to Paris to gain experience from “the masters” and immerse herself in French culture. Jo-Anna worked for almost a decade throughout the world, booking high profile jobs. This experience allowed her to create a portfolio of amazing beauty, fashion, commercial and celebrity looks.

    She has worked with countless industry heavyweights such as famed photographers Patrick Demarchelier, Gilles Bensimon and Antoine Verglas. Jo-Anna has created looks for celebrities such as Beyouncé, Elizabeth Hurley, Erin Wasson, Helena Christensen and Kristen Bell and her commercial clients have included Estée Lauder, Maybelline, Revlon and Calvin Klein.
